Laurence CHAPELON-CHAIN invites you to discover the techniques of this ancient decorative art. You will learn the techniques of mosaic: cutting, drawing, assembly and jointing. Courses adapted to your pace to progress according to your projects!
Laurence CHAPELON-CHAIN is based in Rioupéroux. A mosaicist, she uses different materials (Briare enamels, glass paste, mirrors, etc.) and assembles them in colorful figurative compositions. Decorative and utilitarian objects on various supports.
Laurence offers you this animation as part of the “Route des savoir-faire de l'Oisans”. This route brings together all the craftsmen, artists, producers and cultural sites of Oisans who have agreed to open the doors of their workshop, farm or museum, to share their know-how with the public. The “Route des savoir-faire de l'Oisans” is an open door to the Uissanne mountain culture, the richness of its heritage and its multiple know-how. By crisscrossing its roads you will discover varied landscapes and endearing personalities whose quality of work and the flavor of the products you will appreciate.
Duration: 2 hours minimum (it takes around 15 hours to cut and complete a complete project).
