Discover this fun and historical little trail of the vertical mines of Grand Clot. This via cordata is ideal for children, from 5 years old, with family or friends. A moment of shared happiness, around the heritage and history of the miners.
This beautiful via cordata is the ideal activity to spend a good time all up there in the mountains! It is by a set of ledges that this cunning and newly equipped path will lead us to the entrance of a beautiful mining gallery.
Everything has remained intact: wagons, rails and veins trace more than 500 years of silver mining history.
During the visit, you will become aware of what it was like to work in vertical mines. You will learn more about the tools and extraction techniques that miners used in the past to recover the ore. You will also be able to recognize and observe different rocks such as quartz, granite, galena and alquifoux, a mixture of silver and lead.
