In a high mountain atmosphere, you will discover the basics of glacier hiking along a magical route
At the start of theAlpe d'Huez, you will take the cable car from Pic Blanc to reach the Grand Sablat glacier at an altitude of 3330m.
Head towards Col de la Pyramide, to reach the Col de l’Impossible and finish this beautiful loop with the Col du Grand Sablat. A magnificent 360° tour!
This route will offer you magnificent panoramas of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Splendid!
(Beginner-Physical condition: good walker – good physical condition)
Equipment provided: technical equipment (harness, ice axes, crampons, helmet.)
Equipment to bring: high-top rigid hiking shoes (can be rented from the “La Montagne Sports” store in Bourg d'Oisans) + trousers + windbreaker or fleece + thin gloves + hat + poles - + bring a backpack with water (min 1l/pers.) + picnic + sun cream.
Once your reservation is made, the guides office will contact you to confirm the departure and finalize the organization of the outing.
