On each side of the valley, it is possible to discover a superb landscape: on one side, the Taillefer and Grand Armet massifs, on the other, the Tête des Filons and the Vallon. The Nordic area of the Col d'Ornon winds through a typical mid-mountain forest, giving it the title of largest white alder grove in Europe.
Four trails are marked and marked for the enjoyment of beginners and experienced cross-country skiers:
– the 2 kilometer green
– the 4 kilometer blue
– the 6 kilometer red
– the 10 kilometer black
(A black trail loop is ungroomed to allow Nordic hiking.)
A link (0,5 km) allows you to reach all the cross-country trails from Plan du Col.
The trails are groomed for skating and alternative skiing.
Mandatory stickers are on sale at the “Le Chantelouve” cross-country ski center and lodge
