Pastel session inspired by the artist Paul KLEE
Paul Klee Ernst is one of the most important visual artists of the 20th century's Classical Modernism. He was born in Switzerland to two artists: his mother was a singer and his father a musician. His versatile work is part of Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism. He was also closely associated with the artistic group "Blue Rider".

Klee traveled in 1914 with August Macke and Louis Moilliet to Tunis, where he met Ferdinand Hodler and this experience marked a turning point in his artistic career. He himself stated that after the trip to Tunis he mastered a different use of colors and his works are dominated by warm tones. In 1920, Klee and his friend, the painter Wassily Kandinsky, became professors at Weimar and Dessau Bauhaus. In 1931 he became professor at the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts.

After the Nazis took power, he returned to Bern, where he spent his last years battling a long illness.

Klee's artistic activity was incredible as he worked not only on painting, but also on music and poetry.
