Via ferrata avec le Bureau des Guides de La Grave

Via ferrata is the development, using specific metal elements (cables, bars, ladders, ramps, etc.) of a route in a rock face. Several routes are possible in the Écrins and Oisans, from initiation to large and long routes.
The practitioner self-belays using dedicated equipment (double lanyard with shock absorber) along a lifeline in place and roped with his instructor, according to the principles of belaying in climbing.
An activity halfway between hiking and climbing, some via ferrata are accessible to most people, in order to discover verticality and discover yourself in verticality!
Although the equipment in place tends to give a feeling of security to those involved, the via ferrata remains an activity at height which involves risks: we will be able to teach you the skills necessary to master progression techniques.

– Via ferrata d’Arsine – 1/2 day – easy level (from 10 years old)
– Via ferrata of Saint Christophe en Oisans – long 1/2 day – intermediate level (from 12 years old)
– Via ferrata la Pisse – 3/4h – morning – athletic, long (250m) and vertical which follows, without interruption, the waterfall of the bridal veil (teenagers and adults)
