Choose warm, windproof and breathable clothing, while maintaining freedom of movement. Gloves and insulated shoes are essential to avoid extreme cold. 

The fat bike are the most suitable, as their wide tires (often 4 inches or more) allow for better grip on soft and deep snow. An electric-assist mountain bike (E-MTB) can also be useful for making climbs easier and overcoming the resistance of snow. 

Yes. Very often you can rent un fat bike in the ski rental shops of the resorts. 

It is crucial to adapt to the conditions, choosing groomed trails and avoiding tight curves. Wear protection, including a helmet integral, knee pads et a full body protective vest, East strongly recommended to avoid injury.
