Concert dessiné – Au coeur de l'hiver
Jean-Marc Rochette draws, musicians accompany him live. Come and attend a unique concert.
In 2020, when he began drawing The Last Queen, Jean-Marc Rochette chose to settle in Les Étages year-round, in the Écrins massif. The hamlet has not been inhabited in winter since the 60s. Cut off by several avalanche paths, its access road closes in December and opens in March. It is on this island of ice and snow that the author begins a winter in the form of an interior journey, where the everyday rubs shoulders with the extraordinary.
Wolf attacks, avalanches, disappearances, poignant encounter with a vixen: on stage, in dialogue with music and voice, Jean-Marc Rochette draws the generous and violent beauty of the high mountains.
Free access by cable car from Venosc for pedestrians.
