Organ concert by Jean-Paul Ravel and Anne Boissonnet-Peigné, alto singer
Jean-Paul RAVEL, organist
Jean-Paul RAVEL began his musical studies in Saint-Chamond, his hometown. After graduating from high school, he turned definitively to music and entered the Lyon Regional National Conservatory, in the organ class of Louis ROBILLIARD, where he unanimously obtained a gold medal as well as the First Prize for Advanced Study with honors.
He continued his training in the organ class, then decentralized in Toulouse, at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon; there he benefited from the teaching of Xavier DARASSE and obtained the National Diploma of Higher Studies in Music.
Jean-Paul RAVEL also works on the interpretation of the organ works of Jean-Sébastien BACH under the direction of Marie Claire ALAIN and the Italian repertoire with Pierre PERDIGON.
His musical studies are also recognized by various diplomas in the classes of writing, analysis, music history and musical training.
He successively directs the Music School of La Côte-Saint-André and the Communal Conservatory of Annonay (Ardèche). He is the organist of the historical instruments of Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye and the Saint-Pierre church of Saint-Chamond and Artistic Director of the "Music in Saint-Pierre" season in Saint-Chamond.
Anne Boissonnet-Peigné, alto singer
After an initiation at the Chartres music school, she studied recorder and viola at the Conservatoire National de Région d'Angers where she unanimously obtained a gold medal. She continued her studies at the CNR de Versailles, then in Paris where she took courses in harmony, analysis, piano, viola, chamber music and orchestra.
She completed her studies at the CNR in Lyon and at the National School of Music in Valence, where she received a diploma in chamber music and a gold medal for viola in 1996.
She holds a state diploma as a viola teacher.
From 1995 to 1998, she completed the Willems music education teacher training course, at the end of which she was awarded the "Willems music education teacher diploma".
Enthusiastic about the openness and contribution of this pedagogy, she collaborates with Jacques and Béatrice Chapuis on the training courses at AIEM Willems in Lyon and Paris.
As part of her preparation for her Willems® teaching diploma, she wrote a dissertation on "Musical and Instrumental Memory." She now teaches at the Annonay and Montélimar Conservatories. Chamber music is a privileged place of expression for her.
