Kaori SAKAI, organist
Kaori SAKAI was born in Sendai, Japan. She began playing the piano at the age of three and then studied organ in Kinue Aota's class at Miyagi Gakuin Women's University from 2003 to 2009. During her studies, she regularly gave concerts and participated in masterclasses with Lorenzo Ghielmi and Zsigmond SzathmĂĄry.
She then went to France to perfect her studies with Michel Bouvard (organ), Jan Willem Jansen (organ and harpsichord) and Yasuko Bouvard (pianoforte) at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse. There she obtained a DEM in organ with honors in June 2011, then a DEM in harpsichord with honors unanimously in 2014. In 2015, she graduated from the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse with a DiplÎme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien.
In 2016, she was appointed organist of the Giroud-Bacot organ of the Saint-Laurent church in Bourg d'Oisans, an instrument which in 2023 received the first prize for support for the development of a new organ in France.
She also organizes concerts there within the Association of Friends of the Organ in Oisans. She is currently an organ professor at the Les Deux Muses Conservatory in Melun (Seine-et-Marne) and at the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art in Lucé (Eure-et-Loir).
Pasquale Mourey, soprano singer
Alongside his university studies, Pasquale studied organ, singing and music
formerly at the Strasbourg Conservatory. She began her solo career in 1986 in
productions ranging from comic opera to musical theatre to liturgical drama
medieval.
His musical sensitivity and his taste for a more internalized vocal expression
allow them to be frequently hired to perform oratorios and chamber music,
recitals with orchestra as well as recitals with piano/harpsichord.
Committed as an artist
permanent member of the Ensemble Organum since 1988, she has also participated in the productions
from the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing as well as those of the Musiciens du Louvre.
She has collaborated on several occasions with the La Fenice ensemble directed by Jean Tubery
notably in the church of Brunoy.
Teaching vocal technique is also an essential part of his activity.
2004, she is a specialist assistant at the Conservatoire de Lyon. Since September 2007, she
is a specialist assistant at the Conservatories of Auxerre and Joigny and continues her activity
artistic, recitals, chamber music, baroque ensemblesâŠ
Graduated in perceptive psychopedagogy since 2012 (University Diplomas entitled
respectively "Art Expressivity Movement" and "Pedagogy of Expressivity"), it
today combines his new skills with his singing teaching.
Carla Mourey, harpist
Carla MOUREY has been studying music since the age of 4. She began
the transverse flute at 6 years old and the harp at 7 years old at the CRD of Auxerre. She obtained her DEM of
harp in 2020 at the CRR in Dijon.
Currently, she studies the harp at the Conservatoire de Boulogne Billancourt in the class
by Anne Ricquebourg in Preparatory Class for Higher Education. She is intended to
a future as a professional harpist and is considering further training abroad.
She performs regularly with ensembles or as a soloist within groups in
which she studies but also as a young professional with ensembles
regional.
In addition, she is involved in the creation of a theatrical reading-show for
the France Alzheimerâs association.
