Concert – Tzuzamen
In 2003, violinist Richard Schmoucler took the gamble of creating an ensemble halfway between classical academicism and traditional Eastern European music. With his friends from the Paris orchestras, a pianist and a cymbalist, he formed the SIRBA OCTET.
The new program of the Sirba Octet is a journey to the land of traditional Yiddish, Armenian and Gypsy music, each of which radiates nostalgic and festive colors at the same time. "Tsuzamen". Together and united against the forgetting of genocides - that of the Jews, Armenians and Gypsies - the Sirba Octet wanted to mix these repertoires so that a certain idea of brotherhood is embodied and resonates in music.
