Marcel will introduce you to the different stages of making a wooden object. You will learn to give soul to a subject by playing on shape, volume and expression.

Marcel offers you this activity as part of “the Oisans know-how route”. This route brings together all the artisans, artists, producers and cultural sites of Oisans who have agreed to open the doors of their workshop, farm or museum, to share their know-how with the public. The “Oisans know-how route” is an open door to the Uissan mountain culture, the richness of its heritage and its multiple know-how. As you travel along its roads you will discover varied landscapes and endearing personalities whose quality of work and flavor of products you will appreciate.

For those who want to go further, Marcel offers an introduction to fretwork and wood carving. He will introduce you to the different stages of making a wooden subject: choosing the theme and drawing, cutting, assembly and painting. You will learn how to give a soul to a subject by playing on shape, volume and expression.
