Film de Bernard Boyer "Un jour pousse l'autre"
05August2025
The film "One Day Pushes Another" is brought to you by Bernard Boyer, with the short film "Tierra del Fuego, Voyage en Bleu" as the opening act. Moments of life, pieces of humanity offered to us by the inhabitants of the high mountains.
“One day pushes the other” 2014 Duration: 52 minutes.
In a small village between Matheysine and Oisans, in the French Alps, Charles and Edouard have lived together forever. These two brothers, single mountain farmers, share a timeless daily life, in contact and harmony with nature and animals. Their bond in this other world is so strong that they wonder: if one were to disappear, what would happen to the other? And what about the farm?
Moments of life, pieces of humanity that these two brothers offer us.
This film, without commentary, follows "Charles, Edouard, or Suspended Time," made in 2003. As with his other portraits, the director knows how to make us forget the camera. We are then as close as possible to the characters. The emotion is intact, and the viewer is touched by the comedy or tragedy of life.
Audience Award at the “Les conviviales de Nannay” festival – France – 2014
“Tierra del Fuego, Journey in Blue” 2012 – duration 18 minutes
At the tip of South America, Tierra del Fuego and the Beagle Channel at the foot of the Cordillera Darwin. A journey recounted by Cristina Calderón, the last descendant of the Yaghán people who lived for 7000 years in this corner of the world. An artistic journey amidst the ice where the blue color, that of these thousand-year-old ice, could well disappear...
