Jeudi de l'Été – Peaky bikers

Birmingham, late 19th century, bicycle couriers work for gangs of criminals… Very skilled, they easily elude law enforcement. But it was in 1921 that the first troupe of bicycle acrobats, the Peaky Bikers, was created. For 20 years, they traveled the roads of Great Britain and then Europe before disappearing after the war without leaving a trace. Costumes and presentation from the 20s, acrobatics on the ground and on springboards… Only the bicycles and aerial flights have been brought back into fashion. Johny and Eliot, the only descendants of this line of peerless acrobats, are today reviving everything that made the reputation and success of this troupe.
