Oisans Col Series – Col d'Ornon

For the 12th consecutive year, Oisans Col Series reserves the route of the Col d'Ornon For cyclists! With no set start time, cyclists of all abilities can come together to ride this beautiful route without a single exhaust pipe!
From La Paute (2km before Bourg d'Oisans), cyclists can climb up to the Col d'Ornon (1371m) from 9am to 11am. A great outing without exhaust pipes! Upon arrival at col d’Ornon, you are offered a refreshment stop to build up your strength before setting off again (for the bravest) towards the Matheysin plateau (via La Morte or Laffrey).

Oisans Col Series – Every Tuesday in the summer – Roads closed to motor vehicles
Every Tuesday morning, cyclists can climb the following passes and roads without cars: Cols de la Croix de Fer and Glandon, Col du Solude, Col d’Ornon, Col de Sarenne, Col du Sabot, Climb to Alpe d'Huez, Climb to Villard Reculas, Climb to Oz en Oisans and Climb to Les Deux Alpes. Exceptionally this year, the climb to Alpe d'Huez will take place on Wednesday morning.
This is an untimed and free gathering of cyclists, with no registration or fixed start time. The organizer may be forced to cancel a date in case of bad weather.
Be careful and respect the highway code!
