Oisans Trail Tour – ultra trail

Designed for seasoned trail runners, this event takes you on a true adventure, reaching its highest point on the Plateau d'Emparis, at an altitude of 2400 meters. The unique landscapes have given this race its international reputation.
Departure at midnight sharp for an 86km adventure through Oisans!
Since Villard-Reculas, Direction Auris-en-Oisans to enter the Ferrand valley. The climb to the Emparis plateau is via the village of Besse-en-Oisans, following the route of the legendary GR54.
Arriving on the Emparis plateau, after almost 2000m D+, a loop towards the Lérié and Noir lakes is a must: the first will have the privilege of admiring the first rays of daylight on the Meije.
Then descend towards the village of Besse-en-Oisans to go up the Ferrand valley to Clavans-en-Haut-Oisans, before starting the ascent of the col de Sarenne. Already 51km and 3100m D+!
Arriving on the Alpe d'Huez plateau, you will join the Trail Tour and Trail Court runners on the crossing of the lakes plateau to the resort of Vaujany, before taking the return path to Villard-Reculas by Oz 3300.
