It’s a weekend of experience & discovery of ski touring or snowshoeing. It is intended for beginners, families and people with little experience on gently sloping terrain but also for the more experienced with a difference in altitude of 600 to 800m.
"Traces en Vénéon" is a ski touring and snowshoeing event that takes place every year in early April. Today, this event is open to all beginners or those with little experience. The professionals from the Bureau des guides de la Bérarde Meije Ecrins will be there to introduce you to ski touring or snowshoeing, to improve your skills, and to improve your knowledge of the environment through educational workshops (DVA). They will cover, among other things, key themes such as management, risk prevention, choosing the right equipment and mountain safety, as well as new issues related to global warming. The proposed route will allow you to discover a wild and preserved environment, in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, among the most prestigious peaks of the Massif such as the Meije, the Râteau or the Dôme des Écrins… “Traces en Vénéon” is above all a unique and original way to discover the mountains in winter in a different way, far from the hustle and bustle of the resorts… For one day, La Bérarde, the “Mecca of mountaineering”, will be a place of exchange and sharing in a friendly and good-natured atmosphere!

Note: Depending on the snow/meteorological conditions and the level of the participants, the supervisor has the right to make changes to the itineraries.
