Take part in a guided tour of the goat farm followed by a tasting of fresh cheese in the heart of the Villard Reculas mountain pastures.
It was in 2012 that Clément Marais took over the Villard Reculas goat farm. Today, he raises around fifty Saanen goats whose milk is processed on site. Clément invites you to visit the goat farm to discover the practices of his profession and then to finish in style with a tasting of fresh cheese. Visits are done once a week depending on demand.
Clément organizes this event as part of the “Route des Savoir-Faire de l'Oisans”. This route brings together all the artisans, artists, producers and cultural sites of Oisans who have agreed to open the doors of their workshop, farm or museum, to share their know-how with the public. The “Route des savoir-faire de l'Oisans” is an open door to the Uissanne mountain culture, the richness of its heritage and its multiple know-how. By crisscrossing its roads you will discover varied landscapes and endearing personalities whose quality of work and the flavor of the products you will appreciate.
