The Nordic area reception chalet offers an information point on this area in the heart of nature at the gateway to the Écrins National Park
You will be in a preserved place which favors contemplation, under the benevolent eye of chamois, stoats, white hares and foxes.
The area is ideally suited to multiple outdoor activities:
– Cross-country ski trails (relatively flat): divided into three loops of 3, 7 and 10 km with varied profiles, but rather easy.
– Laser Biathlon
– Pedestrian route: Villar d'Arène – La Gravière (8 km)
– Snowshoe trail: around the hamlets of Villar d'Arène (11 km).
– Toboggan runs: one in Arsine and one on the Jouvencelles site, opposite Villar d'Arène
– Ski Hockey: play a game with family or friends. Hockey equipment (you must bring your skis) is available at the reception chalet every weekend and Wednesday outside school holidays and every morning during school holidays.
-A pulka (small sled) is available at the chalet
With the sun grazing the high peaks in the heart of winter, the site benefits from excellent quality snow as well as good snow cover throughout the winter season.
Reminder: Friends pedestrians and snowshoe hikers, respect the dedicated areas. Cross-country trails are strictly reserved for skiers (Municipal decree of 11/01/1986)
