The Medical Center is managed by the Oisans Community of Communes and brings together different health professionals.

In order to strengthen the medical provision of the territory and facilitate access to care, the intercommunal community had a medical center built in Bourg d'Oisans in 2009. It thus makes it possible to group together several health services in one place.

Located along rue Jean-Baptiste Gauthier, near the main entrance to the retirement home, the building accommodates 4 general practitioners and the nursing care center (ADMR). With a surface area of ​​approximately 300 m2, it has on the ground floor a reception hall, two medical offices, an emergency treatment room directly accessible by an external entrance reserved for ambulances, and the nursing care center. In 2015, the Oisans Community of Communes decided to create a 110m2 extension with the aim of accommodating two additional general practitioners. All the work was completed in September 2018.
