At an altitude of 1630 m, the cross-country skiing center of the Col d' Nordic areaOrnon is located at the Le Chantelouve lodge.

The Col d'Ascq Cross-Country Skiing and Activities Center AssociationOrnon is an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901. The Association was created in 1976.
The Association's objectives are:
-to promote and coordinate local initiatives in favor of the development of quality cross-country skiing for all those who want to practice this activity at a sporting or amateur level, as well as all related winter activities (snowshoeing, sledding, etc.)
-to develop mid-mountain sporting activities – summer and winter – from Col d’Ornon.
-to facilitate the introduction of young people to cross-country skiing (welcoming schoolchildren) and mid-mountain sporting activities.
The Association has equipment (cross-country skiing and alternative and skating shoes, snowshoes) which is available for rental at the Foyer. The Association also sells the mandatory stickers for practicing Nordic skiing.
The trails start at the Cross-Country Ski Center.
The Nordic domain of the Col d’Ornon offers pleasant trails that wind through a magnificent alpine forest. Let yourself be amazed by the peaks of Taillefer, Grand Armet, Tête des Filons and Vallon.
Good to know: a 500 m link allows you to reach the Nordic site from Plan du Col.

Tips and Suggestions
– The Gold Package, at €190, is an annual package, non-nominative and therefore transferable! To be used with family or friends, throughout the winter season, for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing!
