– Administrative institutions
Created in 2017, the Jardinalp network brings together 8 French and Italian alpine gardens. Objective: to develop scientific tourism and education in plant biodiversity.
Jardinalp: travel to the gardens of the Alps!
> Gap-Charance Alpine Garden (Hautes-Alpes): created by the National Alpine Botanical Conservatory and located on the Charance estate in Gap, it presents 20 natural and semi-natural environments of the French Alps;
> Lautaret Alpine Garden (Hautes-Alpes): a major center for research and education in biodiversity through the Lautaret Alpine Garden and the Alpe gallery;
> High-altitude botanical stations in the Marguareis, created by the management body of the protected areas of the Maritime Alps (Piedmont) and open to hikers, they bring together the endemic species of the Maritime and Ligurian Alps;
> Valderia Botanical Garden, in Valdieri, created by the management body of the protected areas of the Maritime Alps (Piedmont);
> Castel Savoia Alpine Garden, created by the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley, at the foot of Queen Marguerite's castle in Greissoney Saint-Jean (Aosta Valley)
> Paradisia Alpine Garden, managed by the Gran Paradiso National Park (Aosta Valley and Piedmont), offers the discovery of the flora of the Park as well as a collection of lichen;
> Saussurea Botanical Garden, in Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc, managed by the Saussurea Foundation (Aosta Valley);
Chanousia Alpine Garden (Aosta Valley): the historic garden of Abbot Chanoux, Chanousia at the Petit Saint-Bernard pass.

The creation of the network was financed with the support of the European Union, with the European Regional Development Fund – Alcotra Programme 2014-2020
