Laurent has been passionate about mechanics since a young age when he already took apart his bikes to personalize them. With the place that the bicycle takes today in our society, Laurent has chosen to direct his professional activity on this new market and thus make his passion his profession. A lover of vintage vehicles, he “hunts down” old bikes to give them a second life.
His specialty: folding bikes from the 60s and 70s.
His workshop is stocked with bicycles from the 1900s to the 80s. Men's, women's and children's models, Laurent hunts for his bicycles all over Europe. The French brands Peugeot, Motobécane, Liberia (Grenoble) are his favorites. He appreciates them for their excellent manufacturing quality with their sparkling chrome and the "made in France" side.
Among his favorites, we also find Italian bikes, called at the time “mini bikes”, represented by the brands Dino, Biancchi, Cinzia and the famous and legendary Graziella. For the record, Brigitte Bardot and Salvador Dali were the ambassadors of the Carnielli brand in 1965 and 1966. Since then, La Graziella from the Carnielli factories in Victorio Venetto (Italy), has become a myth. This small bicycle with 16-inch wheels has a retro but resolutely modern look. Laurent is a fan! He now owns 4 of them plus a tandem from 1964 and 1965… real collector's items!
