Maison du Parc national des Ecrins – Oisans
The National Park House is a welcoming space which introduces visitors to the Oisans valleys and the Ecrins massif. The fauna, flora, history and professions of the mountains are presented in images on fun and interactive media!
A reading corner is set up for children and extensive documentation
on the Park can be consulted on site. The house also offers temporary exhibitions, activities and a shop (postcards, guides, bookstore, etc.).
The Ecrins National Park is one of the largest French national parks with 91 ha. a protected core between 800 m and 800 m altitude (summit of the Ecrins bar). More than 4102 plant species identified in the park make up the extreme variety of natural environments. Among them, 1 species are rare or threatened. Mammals (00 species) are among the 40 bird species recorded.
The rangers and hostesses will be happy to help you discover this fauna, flora and fascinating environments in the museum space of the Maison du Parc or on the grounds.

The Ecrins National Park House is part of the Oisans Know-how Route. Free meetings with a ranger at Lake Lauvitel are organized in July and August from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m.
