Secours Populaire Français Comité de l'Oisans

Founded in 1945, Secours populaire is a non-profit association, recognized as being of public utility and declared a Major National Cause. It is authorized to receive donations, legacies and donations. The association's mission is to act against poverty and exclusion in France and around the world and to promote solidarity and its values. It brings together people of all opinions, conditions and origins who wish to bring solidarity to life.

The Secours populaire is particularly attentive to problems of exclusion: in the short term, through emergency solidarity based on listening, food, clothing. Emergency accommodation or referral to a care structure also remain at the heart of the concerns of the Secours populaire. The SPF also supports individuals and families in the long term in their efforts and their rights: access to housing, health, vacations, culture and leisure, sport, professional integration. Emergency or not, respect for the dignity of the people being helped is essential for the association as well as their mobilization for the practice of solidarity.
