Lovely hike in the heart of the majestic Forêt de l'Ours during which you will appreciate the freshness of the undergrowth. We love this very special atmosphere which takes on fantastic accents, like a little Brocéliande in Oisans!
Almost entirely forested and facing north, this route remains very pleasant even in the heat of summer. The route is not very long, with a few passages where you need to have very sharp calves!

ROUTE
From Raffour, head towards Ferme du Chatillon, staying on the left path. After a few hundred meters “at the Sardonne path”, turn left into the forest towards Côte / Allemond. And off we go for a journey to the heart of the Bear Forest: magical! An almost legendary atmosphere, majestic trees and scents of undergrowth mark the route. Halfway, the route is shared with mountain bikers, so stay alert! Very short passages can be very steep, so this route is not suitable for the little ones, it's best to have sharp calves! Near the finish, you will cross the road to Villard Reculas, before finally reaching your destination: the charming little village of Sardonne! From up there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Eau d'Olle valley and the Belledonne massif. On the way back, you can stop at the Chatillon farm and buy goat cheese and cow cheese, and other little farmhouse treats! We highly recommend the detour!
