ROUTE
The hike offers you a balcony path which peacefully runs along the meadows above the Romanche valley, with a view of the peaks, to go from the hamlet of La Ville to Armentier-le-Bas, then Armentier-le-Haut.
You will witness a climb through the forest, under the watchful eye of the trees and squirrels, between Armentier and Maronne.
Then a downhill path awaits you to return to La Ville, still in the beautiful and peaceful Maronne forest…
Really a beautiful walk!

TO KNOW
– The town is served by the T75 bus line linking Le Bourg-d'Oisans to Alpe d'Huez
- La Garde-en-Oisans is one of the most vertical communes in France: 11 hamlets spread out between 720 and 1 m above sea level.
The village sees lovers of the "little queen" parade down its slopes every summer... Indeed, the town has 10 of the 21 bends that lead to Alpe d'Huez. After a few kilometers of an unequaled slope, the slope becomes gentler from the bell tower of the Saint-Pierre church.
