Alpe d'Huez : les gorges de Sarenne en vélo électrique
For this route, you will need to take the Oz cable car to reach the mountain bike area of theAlpe d'Huez, explore the Sarenne gorges, a lovely haven of freshness. The route returns to your starting point by then taking the road.
ROUTE
Exit the Oz cabin and head towards the XC 8 which goes towards the Shepherds' district then the Col de Sarenne through beautiful high mountain pastures. The trail continues to the Sarenne bridge, then runs alongside the Sarenne in the eponymous gorges. We then descend to the village of Huez, which we can explore to stroll through its pretty sloping streets, before taking the departmental road and going back up to Alpe d'Huez. From the center of Alpe d'Huez, take the direction of the roundabout of the slopes and continue to climb, pass in front of the DMC cable car and the Alpe d'Huez mountain bike school and continue on the paved road towards Lake Besson. Pass in front of the restaurant La Plage des Neiges and reach the Poutran cable car station by the obvious track which passes under the cable car. Take the cabin again to reach Oz.
