Auris-en-Oisans
This XC-style loop winds through the balconies of Auris. Facing due south, the route is pleasant and allows you to discover pretty, interesting single tracks, small, unspoiled hamlets and dazzling views of La Meije.

ROUTE
> From the Orgières car park in Auris, follow the direction of "Plancet" going down to the right. The start of the path is located below the camper van area. Cross the beautiful spruce forest by a narrow path with a rather descending profile of 2 km.
> When you reach the Piégut ridge, go down to the left on a straight and steep path to Plancet. You pass the small picnic area of ​​Plancet and shortly after, you must not miss the intersection which will take you back to the hamlet of Certs. Go past the fence on the left to set off across the fields to Certs.
> At Les Certs, cross the hamlet upwards to join a beautiful path that goes up to Les Cours. Cross Les Cours going up towards the postman's path which will take you to the Croix de Trévoux. From there, join the road and turn left to reach the hamlet of Puy-le-Haut.
> From Puy, head towards the Col de Cluy via the Chemin du Lauzat, then the 4x4 track which will take you past the Perchoux barn. A beautiful climb in perspective up to the Col de Cluy (5 km for 500 m of D+). You can also shorten this climb by going directly to the St-Giraud chapel once on the 4x4 track.
> Just before reaching the Col de Cluy (1800 m), take a small grassy path on the left which goes down towards the St-Giraud chapel.
> Just before reaching the road, take the small path that goes up to the St-Giraud chapel. Go behind the chapel and follow the path that leads back to Auris overlooking the road.
