Balade des Hières à Valfroide
Ideal walk for families with young children on pastoral tracks and in the middle of old alpine hamlets and in the heart of nature.
The start of this gentle, family-friendly stroll is from the car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Les Hières. Once parked, all you have to do is stay on the main road that crosses the village for 300m.
Then the pastoral track opens up to you for 2 km during which you will be surrounded by flowery fields, houses and fountains typical of the alpine hamlets and the Maurian torrent which has its source much higher up towards Goléon.
For the return, it will be by the same route.
