Boucle vallée de la Romanche

Le Bourg-d’Oisans
Easy route accessible on horseback in the Romanche valley with views of the cliffs and mountains of Oisans.
This loop, which can be done in a day, takes you to discover the wild corners of the banks of the Romanche. On the dike, the left bank offers a clear view of the Deux Alpes massif while the right bank allows you to see some of the peaks of Belledonne. The majority of the route runs through the undergrowth where a few streams meander on either side of the paths. This loop also leaves room for a bit of history when crossing the ruins of Vieille Morte, passing in front of the charming chapel of Bassey and that of Paute. From the foot of the cliffs that are omnipresent on this circuit, don't forget to look up to perhaps see some majestic waterfalls flowing down from them!
The ultimate reward at the end of the journey: swimming in the Buclet pond.

Some sections are on the road but they remain short and traffic is moderate.

Starting point/parking: the Caval'Oisans equestrian center. Julie will be delighted to welcome you there. Attachment bars and paddock at your disposal if you give a little notice of your arrival.
