Col de la vache – Rando
Beautiful wild hike around mountain lakes where, if you are lucky, you can meet the lords of the place, the ibex.
TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS :
Departure: Rivier d'Allemond
Elevation: 1253 m
Distance: 6,6 km
Level: difficult
ITINERARY :
From the Rivier d'Allemond, take the path of the Pas de la Coche which you leave at the level of the Combes stream (sign). The path goes up this stream before rising quickly below the Pic du Pin. You join the path which comes from the Pas de la Coche and you cross to the East below the Pic de la Belle Etoile. The path then rises quickly to arrive at a peat bog (2322 m). You then cross a long rabbit hutch (many cairns) before finding a path which allows you to reach the pass (2556 m).
