ROUTE
The start is at the entrance to the last car park of the resort. Take the track that goes up to the right of the car park. This section of the track is shared with skiers, make sure to stay on the side of the track. At the crossroads (just before the Forêt ski lift) take the path on the left to stay in the Piégut forest (you have the option of turning right to take the track shared between pedestrians and skiers). When leaving the forest, continue towards the summit of Les Sûres and along the ridge of the same name.
Once you reach the top, you can eat or drink at the Sol&Monta snack bar. You can then go back down via the footpath that passes under the Sûres telemix to reach the Col de Maronne. Be careful, you may come across skiers again.
After the Col de Maronne, you can take the Col de Maronne trail (Ribot path) to return to the resort.
To reach the departure car park, cross the snow front and go around the ski school. Before the Place des Orgières, take the pedestrian path which goes up on your right.
At the top of the path, climb the iron stairs leading to Place des Écrins then cross this square going straight. At the end of the square, you will reach Rue de Piégut: turn right and go up to the car park.
