De La Grave au Col du Galibier
Set off to conquer one of the most legendary passes of the Tour de France: the Col du Galibier!
Detailed itinerary:
– Turn right at the car park exit towards Briançon and continue straight on the RD 1091.
– At the exit of the village of La Grave, cross the Serre du Coin tunnel then the Ardoisières tunnel (be careful, the tunnels are poorly lit)
– At the exit of the Tunnel, continue on the RD 1091 road and go around the village of Villar d'Arène
– At the exit of Villar d'Arène, continue towards Briançon, until the summit of the Col du Lautaret
– Arrived at the Col du Lautaret, turn left towards the Col du Galibier on the RD 902. Go up for around 6 km.
– Arrived in front of the tunnel, turn right and continue the ascent of the Galibier pass to its summit. Don't forget to take a photo once you arrive.
– The return to La Grave is done by the same path
