De Villar d'Arène aux Deux Alpes
After a beautiful descent of the Romanche valley from Villar d'Arène to the Chambon lake, set off to climb the hill to the Deux Alpes resort.
From the car park, join the departmental road and take the direction of Grenoble. Be careful, about 1 km later, after two hairpin bends, cross the Ardoisières tunnel, followed by the crossing of the Serre du Coin tunnel, 1 km further. The tunnels are poorly lit, remember to make yourself visible to other vehicles.
At the exit of the Serre du Coin tunnel, continue straight ahead and cross the village of La Grave, towards Grenoble for approximately 15 km. During these 15 km, be careful when crossing the Grand Clos and Chambon tunnels. The tunnels are poorly lit, so remember to make yourself visible to other vehicles.
When you reach the Chambon dam, turn left after crossing the dam, towards Les Deux Alpes. Go up for about 8 km following the main road.
Arrived at Les Deux Alpes, enter the resort and take Avenue de la Muzelle for around 2 km.
At the roundabout, take the left (2nd exit) to reach Rue des Vikings. At the next roundabout, take the left exit (4th exit) onto Rue des Sagnes.
Go back down 400m to reach Place des Deux Alpes.
