Du côté de Venosc (Circuit n°10)
Venosc is a very old village on the mountainside with many hamlets scattered along the stream and forests.
Departing from Bourg d'Oisans, this circuit is approximately 47 km round trip.
Its steep, cobbled streets will lead you to ↘art craft shops (wood carvings, weaving, jewelry creation, regional products, honey making, etc.).
Take the opportunity to stop at the town hall and learn about the history of this village with the permanent exhibition “The People of Venosc ».
↘The farm of Venosc will allow you to discover a gifted quadruped, always ready to hike with unrivaled skill and above all an unfailing good humor! The donkey driver, Grand Master of donkeys, has understood this well and will know how to put your foot in the stirrup to make you discover this astonishing equine full of (good) surprises. Children love it!
5 minutes from the farm you will find ↘l'Aventure Parc de Venosc and its share of rope bridges, footbridges, Tarzan jumps... This hymn to heights and the forest, the leisure park celebrates it with its know-how in the heart of the Vénéon valley between beech and spruce trees. Even the youngest have
a play area specially dedicated to them.
And to really get some height, you will climb in ↘the cable car of Venosc to Les 2 Alpes in just 10 minutes! Walkers will return via the magnificent footpath which winds beautifully along the slopes of Venosc. Then explore the 2 discovery trails accessible to families: the Built Heritage Trail (short 40-minute loop) to discover the history of the village and the Natural Heritage Trail (1-hour loop) on geology and
vegetation.
