A beautiful ochre cliff, quite discreet, above the plain of Bourg d'Oisans. The routes are mainly high level between 7 and 8b, with a few in 6.

Location details

From Bourg d'Oisans, take the RD1091 towards Grenoble. After about 4 km, enter the hamlet of Les Sables, pass the chicane, the church and take the first left "Ch. De Courbe" (sign). Follow the road then the track towards the mountain. At the end, continue left for 1 m and park opposite the sign "Sources des Arriveaux" (a few spaces 200 m before).
Please note that a flow has changed access to the site: take the path behind the sign, follow the dike and go up the right bank of the Farfayet valley. Go up in bends to a path. Turn left and follow flat for 15 minutes (passage at the foot of cliffs and a large pillar). Watch for a path on the right in a scree. If you go past it, you will see the cliff at the top right.
