Freerando depuis le 2ème tronçon du DMC – Alpe d'Huez
Once at the top of the DMC or the Rousses cable car, you quickly leave the resort side by joining the Lac Blanc pass. From there, the long Plan des Cavales, this high altitude plateau, allows you to join routes

This starting point for freerando is located on theAlpe d'Huez Large Ski Area:
Nestled on the Grandes Rousses massif, the site has potential
magical way to invent free rando routes. The
massive, oriented north/south with the Pic Blanc and its cable car access
at the top, offers us an immense number of compositions
original: descents on the eastern slope for a wild atmosphere,
descents on the western slope to reach the stations of Vaujany,
from Oz-en-Oisans or Alpe d'Huez and more glacial routes
North.
ROUTES from the 2nd section of the DMC:
– Col du Lac Blanc (2722 m) > Pyramid
Climbing the east face to descend by the west face allows you to enjoy exceptional terrain in a wild universe. The possibilities are considerable, it's up to you to compose.
– Col du Lac Blanc (2722 m) > west face of Pic Bayle
A slightly steeper and more technical route to reach the summit of Pic Bayle (3466 m), the highest peak in the massif, just one metre above Pic de l'Etendard.
