Freerando depuis le Signal de l'Homme

The Man Signal is that huge bump aboveAuris-en-OisansIt allows you to reach beautiful off-piste areas, to play with the terrain on the descent and to use the skins to reach beautiful virgin slopes.
This starting point for freerando is located on theAlpe d'Huez Large Ski Area:
Nestled in the Grandes Rousses massif, the site has magical potential for inventing free hiking routes. The massif, oriented north/south with the Pic Blanc and its cable car access to the summit, offers us a huge number of original compositions: descents on the eastern side for a wild atmosphere, descents on the western side to reach the stations of Vaujany, from Oz-en-Oisans or Alpe d'Huez and more glacial routes
North.

ROUTES from the Signal de l’Homme to Auris:

– Col de Cluy (1801 m) > Les Grandes Buffes (2164 m)
From the top of the Signal, there is a beautiful descent of some 400 m of altitude difference to reach the attack of the Grandes Buffes on its west face at the Col de Cluy (or a little lower depending on the descent route chosen). Descent by the steeper north face. Join the Sarenne track.

– Col de Cluy (1801 m) > The Cross of Cassini (2373 m)
Same route as the Grandes Buffes. From the summit descend to the Col de Grange Pellorce (2076m), then put your skins back on and climb to the obvious summit of the Croix de Cassini. Descend on the north face and join the Sarenne track.
