The path starts at a bend in the small road that goes up to the col du SabotYou will cross the slopes of Rissiou, enjoying the clear view of the Grandes Rousses, before climbing up to the Grand Beau "Rochas" (in patois).
This hike is accessible to all calves in the family. The trail crosses the undergrowth of the Rissiou massif, with many cleared passages to enjoy the panorama of the Grandes Rousses. Without any particular difficulty, the route goes through a few "tricky" passages, that is to say along steep slopes but on a well-marked path.

ROUTE
After the Collet of Vaujany, take the road to col du Sabot. At the 8th hairpin bend, park at the sign “Forêt domaniale de VaujanyThe path goes around the bend.
The route follows the slopes of the Rissiou massif, climbing slightly before descending to pass a valley. After the valley, the path climbs up to an intersection. From there, follow the path that goes off to the left (signpost “Grand beau rocher”). A final climb will take you to your destination.
At the top of the Grand Beau Rocher, a beautiful natural terrace opens up to you, where you can let the children frolic during the picnic!
