Haute Route : le tour des Rouies en Hiver
The Rouies massif, the epicentre, or almost, of the Écrins is a magnificent belvedere at an altitude of 3589m. Three days in the mountains, skis on your feet, between Oisans and Valgaudemar, to take the pulse of the Écrins, the glaciers and the majesty that surround us.
Three days will be enough to go around it, in one direction or another depending on your wishes.

THE HIGH ROADS IN OISANS
To get you started, discover 3 Hautes Routes… On your skins, go!
– The tour of the Meije
– The High Route of the Ecrins
– The Rouies tour
The Hautes Routes and ski raids routes are aimed at hikers who already have ski touring experience, skiing experience and a good knowledge of the mountains. These are routes over several days with nights in refuges.
But of course, everything has to start somewhere and you can embark on the adventure with little experience and practice by calling on mountain professionals.
A ski raid should be considered between the end of March and May depending on the weather, snow conditions and the opening of the refuges. It can be considered outside the opening period of the refuges thanks to the winter refuges, you will then have to carry food. To organize your Haute Route, find the contacts of the refuges and the guides' offices on Oisans.com.
