La balade de la Cascade de la Pisse
Overall a very smooth route, it allows you to discover the hidden side of the Bourg-d'Oisans plain. The return via the more technical and physical left bank makes it a real cross-country course.

ROUTE
> Departure in front of the Bourg-d'Oisans tourist office, head towards the Post Office and turn left after it, follow the direction of Villard-Notre-Dame.
> At the foot of the climb of Villard-Notre-Dame, take the small road on the left. Then follow the GR 50-54 towards Vert. Continue straight ahead until you reach the dike. Once on the dike, to avoid the greenway (tarmac), take the small path on the right which goes into the undergrowth. At the end of the path, you will find the greenway. Continue the GR 50-54 on the right to go to the Pisse waterfall… There, a short break is necessary to admire it.
> Continue along the small footbridge. Following the path, you come back to the greenway. Turn left towards Bourg-d'Oisans. You will come to a ford. Depending on the time of year, this passage is more or less submerged by small streams. They can be crossed by bike or on foot... it's an adventure!
> Continue straight ahead to Lake Buclet, the second attraction of this route. Go around the lake to the right, then at the end, turn left into the forest following the markings [XC 2] in the opposite direction.
> As you approach the dike, which can be seen through the trees, watch out for a path on the right that allows you to go directly up onto the dike and thus avoid taking the 4x4 track. Once on the dike, turn right, then straight on for 1,5 km.
> At the end, a path on the left allows you to go down from the dike. Take the path that goes into the forest on the right. Join the road that leads to Bourg-d'Oisans by turning right. On this small road, more frequented by walkers than by cars, you pass in front of several enclosures with ponies, donkeys or horses… which makes children happy.
TO KNOW :
> Don't leave too late to embark on this route. In fact, the route, on the way out, runs very closely along the cliff behind Bourg-d'Oisans and quickly passes into the shade. For your information, the Pisse waterfall begins to be in the shade from 15 p.m. in mid-July.
