La boucle du Rivier d'Allemond
This route plunges into the heart of the Eau d'Olle valley. The climb is steep up to the Rivier d'Allemond but we are amply rewarded on the way back with a fun path and a beautiful descent with hairpin bends towards the Mollard.

Directions
> Go down the small road towards Articol-le-Bas. Once you reach the bottom, take a track punctuated by a few steep climbs. Join a narrow and very steep road that you have to go up to the Rivier d'Allemond.
> You can also reach the Rivier by following the D526 road (less bucolic but faster).
> At the Rivier, go up towards the chapel and join the GR 549, wide and very rolling. The track ends with a footbridge which spans the torrent. ͕
> The trail becomes fun to ride alternating small descents and steep slopes.
> We arrive at a first intersection (Le Gay, ruins). Continue straight ahead until the next bridge. Shortly after, the trail becomes steeper. You will have to push the bike for 15 minutes to the top of the place called “sous le Clot du Mollard”.
> The most beautiful moment of the journey begins here. We go back down towards “le Mollard” via a magnificent single track in the undergrowth with very tight hairpins made in Oisans. At the bottom, the path splits into two. Take a right but in any case you end up on the road leading to Mollard.
> Once on the road, turn left to find Route du Rivier
byAllemond and go back up 250 m to reach Articol.
