ROUTE
Above Puy-le-Bas, the path goes across. The slope then becomes steeper through the mountain pastures to reach a rockier area and finally the Courbe rock.
The carriage road goes off to the right beyond the Puy-le-Bas crossing, up to the Bonnefond field where the path is indicated on the right. You will appreciate the freshness of the water intake. Continue to a wide bend where the path goes off to the right in a meadow, still well marked up to the Courbe. We pass under the Bec de l'Aigle (where you may be able to see chamois!).
You can continue to the ruins of the chalet, cairns indicate the crossing of the site to find the path down to Clavans. To avoid the village, 50 m below the descent we will look for a little-used, unmaintained path, which ends on a wider path coming from Clavans. Shaded area. We climb up to the Follet oratory and continue in the woods along the side of the Clapière to reach Puy-le-Bas.
