La forêt de l'Ours par la Combe du Bras
Very nice enduro-style route, intended for already experienced riders. This is one of the rare trails that allows you to descend to Bourg-d'Oisans from Alpe d'Huez.

ROUTE
> This route follows the FFC signage [EN 6].
> At Alpe d'Huez, go up to the top of the station at the “roundabout of the slopes” then join “the panoramic path” which goes around the Grande Sure.
> Follow the panoramic path to an orientation table. A short break to admire the view and we switch to descent mode.
> We enter the Combe du Bras by following the path straight through the forest (do not go up to the right). The upper part of the Combe du Bras is negotiated on earthen pins. Lower down, the terrain becomes mineral and technical.
> We join the tarmac road Huez – Villard-Reculas. Take a right for 3 km until Villard-ReculasThe Pas de la Confession road overlooks the entire Bourg-d'Oisans plain with remarkable viewpoints.
> Cross Villard-ReculasWe arrive at a parking lot, take the grassy path at the back of the parking lot on the left.
> The start of the descent from the Bear Forest is under the war memorial, in an enclosure where there are sometimes herds. Be careful, “speed bumps” have been installed right up to the undergrowth.
> We enter the forest and the path runs quickly until we reach a small footbridge. Shortly after, go straight into the hairpin following the signs [EN 6]. The first part consists of beautiful banked bends then, after a crossing, we reach the more technical part of the Fontaine de l'Ours.
> After an intense sequence, we arrive without transition in the plain of Bourg-d'Oisans towards the hamlet of Raffour.
> From there, you can reach Bourg-d'Oisans by taking a left or Allemond continuing straight ahead.
