La montée des 2 Alpes
After the Rampe des Commères, access to the foot of the Montée des Deux-Alpes does not present any particular difficulties. 9 km climb from the Chambon dam with a slope of 8%. The road is wide and well maintained.

ROUTE
From Bourg d'Oisans, take the direction “Briançon / Les 2 Alpes” by the D1091 to the Chambon dam. You will cross 4 lit tunnels on this section, for your safety, make sure you are visible.
Just before the dam, take the D213 on the right towards Les 2 Alpes.
Return via Bons on “la route des Travers”. Coming back down from Les 2 Alpes, after 4 km, turn left towards Bons then cross Le Ponteil. Continue on this small narrow road all the way down. There, you join the D1091 taken on the way there a little before the Rampe des Commères tunnel.
VARIANT: By cable car Venosc
From Bourg d'Oisans, take the D1091 towards Briançon. At the fifth kilometer, follow the D530 towards La Bérarde. Stop at Venosc to board the cable car, arrival Les 2 Alpes.
Please note that the gondola only operates during the summer and winter seasons. Tickets are available at the ski lift ticket offices.
