ROUTE
Turn right when leaving the Villard Reculas Tourist Office, then take the first path on your left uphill. You will follow the road toAllemond before diving back down towards the Bear fountain. The descent is very technical with some slippery roots, be careful. Also pay close attention to the markings since in the middle of the descent you will go back up a few meters on your left. You then arrive in the valley to take the path on your right to cross the hamlet of La Voute, before going along and then crossing the Eau d'Olle on a footbridge typical of mountain trails. Photo stop highly recommended.
You then cross Allemond where you will find some fountains to refill your water before following the road to then take a path on the right, a magnificent single track between the trees. You then find the Verney dam to go around it before turning immediately right to enter the hydroelectric power station area and pass under a water lift pipe (obligatory photo stop). The crossing of Oz village is quite quick but it is the last break before starting the climb towards the Bessey (be careful crossing the road) then at the foot of Oz Station. Going up between the BesseFrom Oz Station you will take the typical Oisans paths, which are entirely paved.
The return to Villard Reculas is via a path along the mountainside, passing Beau Clos, the Beau Clos ridge and then the passage to Lac du Langaret, the last passage before taking the cow path which takes you back to the Tourist Office.
