Lac de Buclet et lac bleu -Balade depuis Le Bourg-d'Oisans
Fancy a walk along the water without any elevation gain? Follow the greenway, partly tarmacked and wooded, to picnic on the edge of the blue lake, then, to digest, continue to the Buclet lake. Then finish with a return along the Romanche.

ROUTE
Starting from the Bourg-d'Oisans tourist office, follow the greenway route towards VenoscEnjoy the superb view of the cliffs of Prégentil as you reach the church of Bourg-d'Oisans, then continue on the road to St-Claude to the hamlet of Vert. The route then reaches the blue lake (natural color), where you can admire the fish under the rocks with mini-waterfalls. Equipped with picnic tables, small wooden bridges and a large green space, it is a bucolic and family-friendly place.
Continue on the paved road, closed to cars from the blue lake, towards the Aiguille de Venosc.
Following the source of the Rive you arrive at the parking lot of Lake Buclet. Continuing you will leave the greenway to follow one of the paths that go around the lake. Its superb mirror effect is perfect for photos!
For the return, go to the Buclet lake car park and take the path on the dike to make a loop to the centre of Bourg.
At the end of a long straight line, the path runs alongside the Romanche river with a beautiful view of the Travers d'Auris road, Alpe d'Huez and the Belledonne massif in the background.
When you reach the end of the path, cross the car park then turn left to follow Avenue Aristide Briand and return to the starting point.
