ROUTE
From the refuge, the trail leaves the bottom of the Muande valley to rise very quickly among the grassy slopes. Marmots and chamois will be your companions throughout your journey. After a sustained climb, the lake opens up before you in all its splendor with its turquoise waters dominated by the Aiguille des Arias. Here, the panorama is breathtaking, as the legendary peaks of the Écrins massif are revealed to you.

YOU HIKE IN THE HEART OF THE ECRINS NATIONAL PARK
The Écrins massif is an exceptional space, open to all, whose natural, cultural and landscape heritage is rare. To protect these riches, the heart of the park is marked by flags painted blue-white-red, where regulations must be respected. Please read it while preparing your hike in order to preserve this collective good on the website www.ecrins-parcnational.fr.
