Lac du Goléon depuis les Hières
A very varied round trip route, offering both views of the Meije, the discovery of local heritage, and the arrival at a refuge perched on the edge of its lake.
At Hières, follow the track towards Valfroide. The track crosses the different hamlets of Valfroide.
After 2,5 km, after going around the hamlet of Plot, the track becomes a path and enters the valley that leads to the Goléon refuge. After crossing pastures, the path rises rapidly (north-east direction) in terrain alternating between grassy areas and scree until reaching the refuge and the lake.
Return by the same route.
